Drake Park is one of my favorite places in Bend, Oregon. It's nestled in the neighborhood I personally call home--Bend's River West community, where the character of the old mill still remains. It is a 13-acre public gathering place on the Deschutes River named after town founder, Alexander M. Drake.   It 's a popular spot for community events such as the 4th of July parade and the Munch N' Music Concert series, as well as providing scenic areas for walks, biking, and wildlif
