My wife and I moved to Bend, Oregon, almost a decade ago and it's proved to be one of the best decisions of my life.
First and foremost, we moved for the accessibility to nature. We love having Mount Bachelor, the ski resort, only 20 miles from town, and it's a bonus that they have a downhill mountain bike park in the summertime.
Bend is also just a day trip to so many other cool lakes and campgrounds.
One of the things I love most about living in Bend is also the Deschutes River. It flows right through town and it's in the heart of the community. Whether it's floating down the rapids on a summer afternoon, surfing the wave park, paddle boarding, or just relaxing on the beach with a picnic. It's endless fun and connection all year long.
I also moved here because my wife and I felt that Bend would be a great place to raise our kids, and it's been awesome. We absolutely love the community in Bend.
It has a small town feel with the amenities of a larger city.
If you're looking to make a move, I'd love to help you make Bend your home too.
